This weekend we ventured down to the depths of Cornwall, to a village called Trenwheal, about 10 miles south of St Ives. The village consists of one road and 5 large old houses. There is no mobile service and the phrase wifi is considered a different language.
Everyone needs a break from their iPhone now and then.
The hut was beautifully constructed and decorated to a very high standard (sorry to get all 'Homes Under the Hammer' on you). We spent the evenings looking at the stars, drinking prosecco that had been chilled in the stream while sat next to a little fire. I mean c'mon, does it get much more romantic than that?!
If you're looking for a holiday that's a tiny bit magical and a little out of the ordinary, then this shepherds hut in the middle of nowhere might be the getaway you are after.
